Comment: Earliest date is earliest listed office in PIR. Pausanias (5.20.8) narrates a story of a Roman senator who had won an Olympic victory. This might indeed concern Lucius Minicius Natalis. In terms of dating, SEG 35.385 suggests the dedication of the victory chariot dates to after 153 AD. The date of the victory is therefore not certain; we may opt for a date around the beginning and middle of the 2nd century AD. The differences in dating might have to do with the fact that father and son carry the same name. [DvdL]
