Comment: Farrington (2012), 151 note 517 suggests Hierokaisareia in Lydia as the Hierokaisareia in question, because of the geographical pattern of Agathopous' honorary citizenships and victories; the dating is uncertain, and based on the mentioning of a victory under joint rule, either referring to Marcus Aurelius and Lucius Verus or Severus and Caracalla, cf Farrington (2012), 151 note 516, who also offers the date 183-198 A.D. as an option. Agathopous was a victor in the dolichodromos. - PK
