Aktia in Nikopolis (Epeiros)
||None - None
According to Cartledge (1989) this athlete was active as a runner during the reign of Emperor Septimius Severus (193-211). Moretti (1953) dates the original inscription to c. 210-212. The specific running discipline of this event is not visible anymore in the inscription.
Most of the record of his Aktia-victory is supplemented by the editors, but can be quite certain as he held honorary citizenship in Nikopolis (l. 8).
